In my day, we had no technology besides a single Apple II/e that was only used a few days of the year. The teachers spent the whole day actively involved. It was even a bit easy — blindly follow the textbook and utilize the teacher notes. I really don’t understand how schools expect to teach with glue and chromebooks for 8-12 years and then somehow kids pickup books for the first time in college…
