The app does not send "worry" or "not worry". Its more like your second suggestion.
I do like the first suggestion tho, need to think about that one a bit more.
If you are interested, here is an example I got:
"Your blood results are generally within normal ranges. Hemoglobin, hematocrit, and red blood cell count are at the higher end of the spectrum, but they do not appear to be at a concerning level without symptoms or additional context such as high altitude living or dehydration. Iron and ferritin levels are normal, and CRP is low, indicating no significant inflammation. Lipoprotein(a) is elevated, which can be a risk factor for cardiovascular diseases, but this would typically require additional context or family history to warrant concern."
"Continue maintaining a balanced diet, regular exercise, and monitor any potential cardiovascular risk factors. Consider discussing Lipoprotein(a) levels with a healthcare provider to evaluate the need for potential lifestyle modifications or further testing. Regular check-ups are advised to ensure any future changes in blood parameters are monitored."
In any case, thanks again for the feedback, appreciate it!
- minimaxir 2y agoIf you are serious about commercializing this, you need to speak with a lawyer.
- LarsenCC 2y agoProbably. I did make sure to convey the message that this is not a substitute for a doctors visit nor can it be treated as medical advice by any means. Not sure if you tried the app/read anything on the page, but before it sends anything to the user they need to agree to the TOS. Even in the email itself you have a disclaimer. e.g. Medical Disclaimer - Our service is for informational purposes only - The analysis provided should not be considered medical advice - Always consult with healthcare professionals for medical decisions
- gus_massa 2y ago> Probably. minimaxir is too polite. I'll repeat it You need to speak with a lawyer! You need to speak with a lawyer!!!!!! You need to speak with a lawyer!!!!!!!!! Everything related to health is a minefield. You need to speak with a lawyer to ensure you will not have problems when a moron misinterpret the result of the page. The only sure thing in life is the overabundance of morons. Or if you want to be more polite, the existence of people that are not healthcare or programming experts and will thrust blindly whatever the computer says, or may misread it. Is the system HIPAA compliant? Are you logging any of the text? For a music service recommendation it may be a small privacy breach. For anything related to health it's a suebait.
- LarsenCC 2y agoWell, I intentionally designed it in a way to avoid any HIPAA issues. First of all, the system does not analyze data or store any reports tied to personally identifiable information (PII) - so no names, birthdays, emails, security numbers etc. Also, the analysis report (which again is not tied to any PII) is deleted after user requests the report or at latest in 15min if the user does not request it (aka it expires and is removed completely). Lastly, the only way to get this report is to consent it being sent to you via (unencrypted) email you provide. You can always opt out and not agree to this and the report will never be linked to any email and will be deleted shortly after.
