Calling VoA “anti-American” is a fascinating bit of spin.
It’s unfortunate the entirety of the press room is full of feckless losers more concerned about their follower counts and engagement numbers than calling these people out for lying, but I guess the US has gotten the “journalists” it deserves.
- jjeaff 2y agoThat's not fortune, it's by design. The administration is kicking out any journalists that stand up to them.
- jmye 2y agoNo disagreement that it’s gotten worse lately, but the press corps has been weak for 20+ years, now (and it extends well past politics - it’s not like anyone’s holding anyone in tech accountable for anything, either).
