I would argue that, while it's true that some of your rights are restricted by corporations, others are just there waiting for you to exercise them.
Use your freedom, take chances, write the word "porn" in HN without fear. Otherwise there's no point in demanding freedoms that we're too afraid to use.
- fundatus 2y agoGood point, I wasn't sure if writing "porn" would be flagged by some kind of badwords filter, so I didn't bother, but apparently it's no problem over here :-)
- pjc50 2y agoNo badwords filter here, just good old fashioned handcrafted moderation by dang and artisinal flagging by individual users. You don't have to resort to weird euphemisms like "unalive".
