- rbanffy 2y agoI think that, given their previous history with Majoranas they’d be much more careful, to the point of having a working computer to prove it can do quantum computing. In their announcement they give the impression that goal is close and I would have suggested they make some progress in that direction before embarrassing the company again. If this proves to be a dud, it’ll be career ending for many people involved in the process. I hope their golden parachutes are very robust.
