I thought it was interesting that you're using Fly.io to spin up machines that (IIUC) essentially run `npm run dev` for every project, that most be quite some infrastructure to maintain! I heard that Bolt somehow builds in the browser — what are the pros and cons for not building in the browser? And did you ever face reliability issues with Fly.io?
- eahl 2y agoCorrect! It definitely adds a maintenance burden on us. Bolt builds in the browser, which is nice in many ways but causes issues with many external npm packages not being able to build, along with a lot of extra overhead on the frontend. We do run into issues sometimes, mostly with rate limiting and trying to spin up too many sandboxes, to the point where we're considering other alternatives
