Didn't they just spend tons of money redesigning stores to be as uncomfortable as possible, to serve a "here's your online order now get out" philosophy?

- bloomingkales 2y agoIt’s almost like the story writes itself. What a full circle, someone oughta chronicle the stupidity from beginning to end. Their mission statement was pretty clear since they started in Seattle, they just cut costs relentlessly until they literally got rid of the of the chairs and outlets.
