DuckDuckGo's AI beats Perplexity in one big way – and it's free to use
- karmakaze 2y agoI don't like how it labels open-weight models as open-source--they're black boxes like an executable. Also curious why they don't include DeepSeek--does it have biases (more than any other) or is that FUD?
- brianjking 2y agoThis is stupid, as Perplexity offers this very thing (model selection and data retention for training) can be opted out. With that said, competition is great and I'm all for Duck Duck Go and Perplexity!
