People from Bootle will have a different accent to people from Toxteth for example. 2 miles through a tunnel and you have the softer Scouse accent of the Wirral, the further from Birkenhead to Chester you get the less Scouse they sound. Head south on the M62 and the Manc accent slowly melts into the Scouse, starting at roughly the Runcorn area.
