It’s not Indian newspaper, its british newspaper. They’ve been asking UK to stop the aid since 2008, It’s being sent out of corruption deals between UK politicians and local special interest groups who are friends with those politicians. India never asked for any of these aids. The total aid India receives is smaller than the bloody fertiliser SUBSIDY budget of the country. It’s literally trinkets and they actively do not want it. India also banned foreign contributions and aid money being sent to its local NGOs without central government permission, just to put a stop to this.
