The amount of Android devices being released with support for bootloader unlocking is shrinking every year, and even if you find a phone you like that supports it, good luck getting your bank's app to run on it after doing it. Companies like Google and Apple are doing everything they can to force people to use locked down devices they don't control, and PCs are slowly moving in that direction as well.
