Amphibians bounce-back from Earth's greatest mass extinction
- docmechanic 2y ago'Ancient frog relatives survived the aftermath of the largest mass extinction of species by feeding on freshwater prey that evaded terrestrial predators, academics have found.'
- perrygeo 2y agoEarth's greatest mass extinction... so far. Despite whatever success Amphibians had during past hard times, they are getting demolished now. 40% of species are threatened with extinction and the situation is deteriorating globally and rapidly.
- docmechanic 2y agoI couldn’t agree more. Check out ‘Save the Frogs’ if you’re interested in supporting an organization fighting the extinction of amphibians. I just love stories of the tenacity and resilience of life, and I hope that some of our precious amphibians survive the ongoing mass extinction as they have in the past.
