A lot of this stuff doesn't seem like it was added through any genuine observation of people's needs, but because automakers just want to stick a computer in everything possible so they can charge more for it. I am not looking forward to the day our classic Toyota pickup finally dies, and I finally have to deal with all this fragile, fidgety stuff the newer cars seem to be infested with. Fortunately, these older trucks are basically bulletproof, so I am likely to have a good while yet.
