If you want the compiler to treat your code as literal portable assembly turn off optimizations.
- johnisgood 2y agoExactly, pretty much what I said, or enable / disable the optimizations you want.
- eru 2y agoThat's a property of a particular compiler, not of the C language (at least as described in the standard).
