Most are recommending that I either get a lastgen mac or the current-gen. The current-gen is quite an upgrade, and it seems that I might just sell off some stuff to make up the difference and get a current-gen. There's just too much great software on OS X for me to pass up.
- whatusername 18y agoDepending on timelines - don't forget that snow-leopard is coming out soon... Not sure if it's worth the extra couple of months waiting?
- alnayyir 18y agoI can wait. If I do, I'll def. have the money for a macbook/macbook pro outright.
- kajecounterhack 18y agoWow...then just WAIT if you can, buy what you want, and don't start huge threads on news.yc that essentially become macvangelist madness.
- alnayyir 18y agoWell, the alternate option is buy a Sager now, now that you've directed me to them. Which was the point of this. I knew there had to be a decent no-name'ish brand out there.
