The flagging of articles critical of SpaceX/Tesla are pretty interesting. Every now and then one breaks through to the front page, but an amazing about get flagged.
It's hard not to see the connection of YCombinator to Musk, maybe just a lot of people here are happy to defend him.

Also likely a lot of people who bought Tesla stock at silly valuations, and bought into the need to defend him at all costs. One for Matt Levine (of "everything is securities fraud" fame); is it securities fraud to suppress negative news about the CEO of a company you own shares in on a niche webform?
- tmikaeld 2y agoAbout that, it's clear that thousands of people read articles on HN but extremely few of them actually upvote anything. Please do that, it only takes a second but makes a huge difference.
