When chatting, do you perceive ChatGPT as male, female, or never considered?
- morkalork 2y agoChatGPT sort of mirrors your prompting style in its responses so I don't think anyone can answer that question without also telling on themselves in some way. If I ask a question in an informal way with slang and exclamation points, I'll get a response that sounds like a millennial chatting on slack wrote it, emojis and all. If I write like a serious professional, I'll get something back that reads like it came from a textbook. Though in both cases I'd say it's gender neutral.
- yannis 2y agoTo be honest for me it was like my terminal talking back to me. Gender neutral. With DeepSeek sometimes it makes me feel as I am talking to a person.
- taylodl 2y agoGender neutral. I know it's a machine. I do have fun though asking it philosophical questions about itself and its future and what it perceives consciousness to be.
