OneWeb would be direct replacement. Eutelsat normal milsec offering is almost all geo with very low bw and high latency. Afaik before OneWeb whole European operators available BW was couple of gigabits. Wonder how operational is OneWeb constellation at merely 600 sats.
- verzali 2y ago600 sats at a higher orbit than Starlink is just as operational. Starlink only need so many satellites because they are low. Lower sats = smaller footprint = need for constellation of thousands. High sats = bigger footprint = a few hundred sats.
