- ggm 2y agoMore interesting than I feared. Watching ordinary people in sometimes extraordinary situations, but mostly in very ordinary ones. I wish we had this for 50, 100, 1000 years ago. Even just the backgrounds, fashion, weather, assets, views of the normal, for deep history it's mostly inference from scant writing. Imagine seeing the ordinary lived experiences of teenagers in Charlemagnes empire. Seeing how they really wore clothes.
