- bigyabai 2y ago> These sorts of audits should be routine. Precisely why people are concerned by a kangaroo council getting hand-tailored to do it.
- defrost 2y agoAudits are routine. There have been many media reports of late pointing out past audits of US Government accounts. They are commonplace in Canada, the UK, and AU also. These "sorts of audits" are not routine for a reason - they're a disorganised clown show with ulterior motives to core out government functioning from the inside.
- locopati 2y agoThese government employees haven't been through any security vetting or training and have political motives. So, yes, this is extremely odd. Stop normalizing what is absolutely not normal.

- ggm 2y ago"Government employees" undergo security checks, probity checks and training. As a fan of government I tend to relate why it's slow, dinasoar like, adopts amazingly baroque "I checked threw times and wrote it twice" methods. None of these audits are being conducted in ways which feel like good faith. They're shit stirring for political gain.
- readthenotes1 2y ago'baroque "I checked threw times and wrote it twice" methods.' Unintentional, but accurate. Good enough for government work, at any rate
