- wikipedia 2y agoWhile I'm hesitant to accept anything posted on social media [Reddit, in this case] as something that translates to real-life sentiment of the average person, there has been quite a bit of celebration and encouragement towards damaging Tesla vehicles on there over the last several weeks. In addition to the a story I saw here of a note with a brick left on a car owners windshield. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/tesla-owners-bay-area-warned-sell-cars-b2697215.html https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politic... https://old.reddit.com/r/pics/1j4kc7p/france_being_based_for_destroying_a_swasticar/ https://old.reddit.com/r/pics/1j4kc7p/france_being_based_for... https://www.reddit.com/r/pics/comments/1j2vkxt/this_was_on_my_windshield_this_morning/ https://www.reddit.com/r/pics/comments/1j2vkxt/this_was_on_m...
- darthrupert 2y agoFascinating tactic when you consider that damaging a Tesla is the only way Musk can get more money out of a used Tesla. But I guess it's just mindless mob hatred.
- licebmi__at__ 2y agoI don't think you are including the discouraging effect on buying a new Tesla, and being prone to vandalism might also be considered by insurance companies on their calculations.
- m463 2y agoAlso retired the turn signal and shifter stalks. But can they be hired back?
- KevinMS 2y agoAnother example of why Tesla rage is childish.
