A long, long time ago, during my studies, I maintained and set up Novell networks, Windows NT, and a proprietary Linux (?) server with specialized law firm software designed for legal partnerships. What I learned from that experience: Lawyers, notaries, and debt collectors rely heavily on text templates. In a sense, you could say they’ve been conditioned for decades to adopt predefined text. And since this approach has worked so often, perhaps they’ve lost the habit of double-checking everything that a piece of software suggests to them.
