People understand that a smartphone is essentially required in modern society. But many people just don’t care about most of the features. If the 16e is reasonably repairable and the parts/service are reasonably priced, and the phone gets software updates for a long time, I could see people willing to buy it and keep it for a long time; it would provide sufficient value. But this is a moving target, Android phones are also out there proposing their own value measurements…
