So what happened to the Starship itself ?
- ceejayoz 2y agoRapid unscheduled disassembly. Kinda like the Federal government.

- busymom0 2y agoIt started tumbling for some reason. Still waiting for more details.
- EA-3167 2y agoIt seemed like some engines shut down unexpectedly, that started it tumbling.
- LorenDB 2y agoYup, they lost all the sea-level Raptors plus one vacuum Raptor, leaving it with very asymmetrical thrust and no thrust vector control. That sent it into a spin, which likely disrupted propellant flow to the other two engines and caused them to flame out. Multiple sources have confirmed observing the ship blow up. I find it interesting that this anomaly happened right after they called out FTS safe, so the ship couldn't automatically destroy itself when it began tumbling.
