- tim333 2y agoI thought JD Vance was just having a go at Europeans for arresting people for social media posts and now he's stealing our ideas!
- bigyabai 2y agoIt really irks me to think that Y-Combinator would have no scruples investing in a startup that did this. The American AI entrepreneur wave is about to make IBM's history look like a footnote.
- tim333 2y agoThat's kind of unproven.
- siltcakes 2y ago> "We found literally zero visa revocations during the Biden administration," the official said, "... which suggests a blind eye attitude toward law enforcement." There's a little thing called freedom of speech in this country. What "law enforcement" would be needed for being pro-Hamas? I'm pro-Hamas, will I be arrested?
- actionfromafar 2y agoComputer said "yes".
- siltcakes 2y agoFor what exactly?
- cempaka 2y agoNot that there's actually anything wrong with being pro-Hamas, but you also know they're going to define this as "strongly opposed to Israel" the same way they have with 'anti-Semitism.'
- siltcakes 2y agoYes, I'm sure of it.
- gitaarik 2y agoThey're not being arrested, their visa would be revoked. I guess there are reasons you can use to revoke a visa. Maybe if you are pro some terrorist group that could be a reason. Not sure though.
