While I was not able to read the article, my circle of friends seems to agree that (anecdotally, without much science) aging happens in bursts. It is at least how it feels like when you get kidney stones just after a herniated disc, or when you one winter just stop being able to handle the cold.
- mewpmewp2 2y agoI wonder if in this case it means that one health conditions weakens your body enough to be more likely to get the next conditions.
- GoToRO 2y agoHa! handle the cold... I had some digestive problems. They were sporadic at some point. I could judge my health state by how cold felt: If I felt it like it attacked me, I was ill, If I felt it like a notification without other effects, I was very healthy. I too noticed that I aged in bursts but I think it happens because something bad happens in your body at some point and that will trigger other problems in the rest of the body. So until you recover, the whole body struggles.
