I think it's interesting everyone that dissented mentioned power consumption. Our business "only" sees about 1,000-25,000 req/min, our message brokers transmit MAX 25k msg/s. Easily handled by a rack of 10 servers for redundancy. We are not Google and we don't pretend to be, so we don't care about power, as the difference is a few dollars a month.
