Pat vs. API Key
As a developer, do you prefer Personal Access Tokens or API Keys when working with REST APIs? Looking for pros and cons of both. Thanks!

- stop50 2y agoPAT are tied to users, api keys to an team or organization.
- stop50 2y agoPats are good for apps tied to users: cli, gui clients, ... Api keys and similar are better for services that are long running and should not go down: websites, backends that require access to other services.
