The difference being that my previous car lasted near 15 years, and it was paid off in 7. Why would you want to pay a yearly fee after you're supposed to own the car, free and clear? I'll save us the back and forth: there is no model you can present (or reframing of a model) that will make me think advertisements (or an everlasting subscription to remove advertisements) in the car that I own is okay. It's profoundly depressing that I have to write it out that explicitly.
