Great to see an offline Bible app! First time hearing about Berean Standard Bible -- is it endorsed by the Church and does it have all 73 books? If not, would you consider adding Douay-Rheims, which should be out of copyright now?
- trentcowden 2y agoIt is actually a Protestant Bible, so just 66 books :) You can read up about it here: https://berean.bible/ https://berean.bible/ I am using it because I've found it to be my preferred creative commons (no licensing required) Bible available.
- trentcowden 2y agoAs of now I'm not planning on adding any more translations but it's something I'd definitely consider in the future!
- madars 2y agoThanks for the insight! There's definitely value in keeping app focused and not overburden user with too many choices. Very interesting that Berean translation connects each translated word with the original Greek or Hebrew text -- I'll need to check it out.
