Might want to try learning scripting/shell scripting. Automated/flexibile/multiple ways to 'git' it!
Advanced ideas provided as indirect guide/way to learn how to get up to speed.
Starter ideas that one can do stream the workflow with git/shell scripts -> automate conformance to code documentation/formatting; notify relevant reviewers via email notice.; customized log(s); email/regenerate developer documentation references; check-in automated testing (aka fail any of the test, need to go back and work on things before updating with 'git'); set up self contained developer docker to place retreived git stuff in so don't screw-up local machine/allow for consistent development environment between developers.
