The opposition to the bill is simple: KOSA was written from the start as a broad-spectrum censorship bill obivously designed to (among other things) suppress LGBT existence with the excuse of "won't someone think of the children". For example, the censorship of any discussion of "illegal narcotics" - don't forget, all those state-licensed marijuana businesses out there are still illegal under federal law...
