Show HN: Crypto total market cap to stock ratio
just something I was always curious about but it wasn't easy to find, so had to build it myself. The last couple of days was definitely fun to watch :)
- audunw 2y agoI like this a lot, interesting to track whether it goes up and down. But the absolute ratio is probably completely meaningless, because the crypto total market cap is nearly meaningless. I could mint a billion coins and I could probably get you to buy one for a dollar for fun. So the market cap is one billion dollars. What does that actually mean? Not much really. It has no relation to something actually worth a billion dollars.
- antonkrasov 2y agoThank you! Interesting assumption, but I guess it's not so easy to fool coinmarketcap (API I used), although I'm definitely a noob here.
