- bdangubic 2y agoeach new framework is replacing the one "you learned" - that is the nature of this industry. the sooner you get that better off you will be. flutter sure is dead, react will be dead too (probably cool kids these days already consider react dead anyways :) ).
- muzani 2y agoThe job is to learn each new framework though. I think AI will slow this for a while - people will stop adopting new frameworks for a while until AI does. But eventually we'll just switch gears to AI friendly frameworks instead.
- scarface_74 2y agoIt should tell you something that Google doesn’t even use Flutter for most of their cross platform apps. > With a fulltime job and a family to take care, I do not have the time nor the energy to learn each new framework that comes out. I hate hearing this excuse. My number one job is to always be employable because I do have a family. If I had your attitude I would still be trying to find COBOL jobs on mainframes.
- sqrg 2y agoWoah buddy, chill. No need to show off your moral superiority I just don't want to waste the little free time I have learning another framework bound to fail. If I weren't trying to stay employable I wouldn't be asking, right?
- scarface_74 2y agoEvery framework is going to “fail” eventually. If you want to stay in software development you’re going to have to reinvent yourself every few years.
- dabockster 2y agoMake the time. You're ability to provide for your family is at stake.
