When I'm leaving, I'm already at the point where I've attempted to give all the possible feedback, and I've become jaded enough that I simply don't care about helping the company any longer. I write the world's nicest email, praising the technical and personal quality of the team and its leadership, reiterating how much of a dream it was working with them. I make everybody feel great about themselves, and move on with my life, never to look back again.
