- vednig 2y agoIt's called forking
- pama 2y agoI wonder why it doesn’t mention aider, the earliest practical tool for vibe coding.

It shows the first version as created by a certain Andy Gordon. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:AndyGordon https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:AndyGordon Which links to their LinkedIn profile. https://www.linkedin.com/in/andrew-d-gordon/ https://www.linkedin.com/in/andrew-d-gordon/ Which points to his current enterprise > Chief Science Officer at software synthesis company Cogna. https://www.cogna.co/ https://www.cogna.co/ > Precision software defined by you, delivered by AI
- Philpax 2y agoto be fair, I don't think vibe coding is "precision software" - as described, it's much more slapdash than that
- mainecoder 2y agoVibe coding is the future cannot wait to see vibe coded medical devices, autopilot software and other mission critical systems, it's going to be ok we will vibe code the tests as well. I will entrust the lives of my 2 daughters and 1 son to a vibe coded ml model that takes them to school.
