Great article, agree with all points. I feel like most "10x" engineers are just better at marketing themselves and being cut-throat when it comes to getting the credit for themselves. This is often to the detriment of teams, and it is also enabled by companies because companies have 1 on 1 reviews where they look at your individual contributions. The reality is nobody is contributing alone and those who are selfless helping others in the team will often not get the credit they deserve.
