- depr 2y agoI have no thoughts on whether it's actually fake, but it can be to appear financially healthy / boost company image, to gather resumes, to gather information about the job market, to comply with internal policies that say jobs most be posted externally even when planning to promote internally, etc.
- sorinGrecu 2y agoApplied last month as I was moving to Amsterdam and found it interesting they were advertising here. 10 yoe, currently at Google, no Go and no streaming experience, got rejected without interviewing, thought I was lacking the proper experience, thanks for bringing this to our attention!
- tschellenbach 2y agoactually we're hiring faster than ever before. we have hired 10 engineers each quarter the last 2 quarters, and will keep that pace for the next 3. and some of the hires we've made have never even used Go before.
- throwawaay__ 2y agoBullshit. Stop scamming people. Or tell your investors that this is not the way of increasing the visibility.
- throwawaay__ 2y agoSame. 10+ years of experience writing FAANG-scale systems software. I don't want to go much into details but I also either tick or heavily exceed other skills they are looking for. Yet, I also got rejected without a single interview.
