Germany and the Netherlands bled off more than half of London's finance industry since Brexit if you look at recent numbers. They still have a finance industry but powerhouse might be a stretch these days.

- riffraff 2y agoPerhaps, but e.g. LSEG had 8B in revenue last year and Euronext had less than 2B. I'd be interested to know about specific numbers you're thinking of, if you can share a link or two.
- whenc 2y agoI suspect they are confusing "total market capitalization of companies on stock exchange" with "financial industry".
