Imo, this is a good proof of concept to show interviewers why current process is broken, and to evolve and fix it to be fairer. But the positioning by the author is offputting at best. They're perhaps being penny wise and pound foolish with their career. Employment in tech is broadly out of the window for them - entrepreneurship is the only option.
