Polish space agency confirms cyberattack

- pndy 2y ago> ‘I think it's a matter of two or three days,’ - Michal Gramatyka, Ministry of Digital Affairs deputy, said in RMF FM's Morning Conversation, referring to the recovery of the POLSA' system after the hacking attack. The politician mentioned the ‘eastern vector’, signalling that the hacking attack occurred from the east. ‘Most cyber-attacks are attacks directed from Russia or China,’ - he added. And it's worth mentioning that attacks occurred few days after the Falcon 9 rocket debris crashed in Poland in the end of February. Ministry of Defense stated back then that it has not been informed of this debris situation by the Polish Space Agency. We don't have procedures for dealing with such situations because this is literally something new and unexpected - nobody thought that commercial rockets parts will be falling into our fields. It's possible that adversary or adversaries were looking for the weak spot in the infrastructure and they found it watching our news.
