I've owned Bitcoin since Jan 2013 and I think this is a terrible idea. I love speculative investments with interesting (to me) technology, but I don't want the foundation of my life (my country) to be affected by this speculation. I should control my exposure. It's the same reason I'm glad the vote to get Microsoft to buy Bitcoin failed. I don't need more risk added to my other investments.
