I don't get it. Aren't these two sentences in the same paragraph contradictory?

- XenophileJKO 2y agoNo, it means that it got better on things orthogonal to what we have mostly been measuring. On the last few rounds, we have been mostly focusing on reasoning, not as much on knowledge, "creativity", or emotional resonance.
