Which are the selfish BSD organizations you are referring to?
- em-bee 2y agothe owners of the original code that BSD is based on. BSD was free, but the code owners thought otherwise, spreading fear, uncertainty and doubt, which stopped it from filling the needs that linux then ended up filling.
