It saddens me that so many voted for Trump thinking he will be some sort of savior, when all I see is an opportunistic billionaire that does not have their interests in mind anymore than needed to maintain popular support...
I fear consumer protections of all kinds will be gutted, the wealth gap will grow even wider, more wealth will be concentrated in fewer hands, and the US will be dealing with the fallout of these guttings for the next 20 years or more
- thomassmith65 2y agoIt's possible that many Trump voters, like many voters of any other candidate, do not follow politics or dry news. When, and if, these voters feel negative consequences of this administration's changes, who knows who they will blame? Perhaps, by then, Trump will be out of office, and they will attribute changes they dislike to the next POTUS.
- econ 2y agoVoters don't read any election program, only slightly worse than the rest of the world. I've often talked about doing a voting diploma. People got very mad for reasons I didn't bother to read.
