This may be an ignorant take and if it is I apologize, but isn't it a choice anyway? A calorie deficit and minimal exercise will have you cutting body fat. Or am I missing something here?
- thisisnotauser 2y agoIt's possible your personal experience with food is different than other people's, and it is easier for you to make that choice than others.
- LostMyLogin 2y agoThat is fair. Most people in my circle are some form of endurance athlete, climbers, etc so I live in a bubble but some of the comments I see feel alarming- like an over correction in the opposite direction.
- aaronblohowiak 2y agoPeople aren’t computers. Eating fixation and compulsion empirically override the more rational mind in millions of people. One of the effects of these drugs is making eating a more “impersonal” or “detached” kind of decision, so it feels like a real choice rather than something that you think you have a say in but really the more base instincts will override.
