- conception 2y agoGreat practical effects always age well. It’s unfortunate few producers are willing to pay for them.

- dmurray 2y ago> practical effects My favourite piece of movie trivia: Terminator 2 had the biggest CGI budget of any movie to that date, but some of the scenes that most obviously needed CGI - where the T-1000 shape shifts into the body of an actor who is already in the same scene - were solved by casting actors who had identical twins. https://terminator.fandom.com/wiki/Leslie_Hamilton_Freas https://terminator.fandom.com/wiki/Leslie_Hamilton_Freas https://terminator.fandom.com/wiki/Stanton_Twins https://terminator.fandom.com/wiki/Stanton_Twins
