I was expecting a tool to extract text from PDFs, not another LLM pretending to be a reliable OCR.
- dredmorbius 2y agoFor better or worse, LLM PDF OCR conversion is likely where state of the art / market are headed. "Reliable OCR" has been a rather phenomenal oxymoron for going on five or more decades, so if you've something more reliable in mind I'd appreciate your sharing it.
