Russia probably has strong kompromats on Trump and his administration. Can't explain it any other way. Why otherwise they would go out of the way to make idiots of themselves in public in front of the whole world? I know Trump has not been an example of tact but this is something else.

I totally think the people saying that KGB has video or photos or whatever from the late '80s of him sleeping with KGB agent/call girls or similar are plausible. But I have a really hard time imagining Trump being embarrassed by anything like that. He'd be like "Of course I slept with beautiful women! who wouldn't?" I'd love to have some idea of what they could actually have that he'd be ashamed of, but he's so shameless it's hard for me to imagine. Which makes me more inclined to think that he just hasn't met a dictator that he's not jealous of more so than anything.

    Trump has no shame, he doesn't care. He's a super fan of what Putin's achieved in Russia, president for life, absolute control of the political machine for personal gain, and respects his version of the how the world works above all.

Could be as simple as he wants to say he "ended" the war. If history offers any lessons, it's that he doesn't think too much about the details and doesn't care how his actions impact others.

It's hard to imagine anything he's done in private with the KGB cameras rolling being worse than the mountain of stuff that's already publicly known, or that he has openly done in public.

The point of diluting the notion of truth into a meaningless concept - a process so loved by both Putin and Trump - is to make things such as kompromats have zero power. Just imagine some photos and videos of Trump having sex with minors or even murdering someone emerge. Do you actually believe it will be damaging to him? “It’s fake, it’s AI, it’s our enemies trying to attack us”.
