- mdaniel 2y agoI chuckled, nice job on the name That said, I think a playbook in HCL would be worlds better than the absolutely staggering amount of nonsense needed to quote Jinja2 out of yaml I would also accept them just moving to the GitHub Actions style of ${{ or ${% which would for sure be less disruptive, and (AIUI) could be even opt-in by just promoting the `#jinja2:variable_start_string:'${{', variable_end_string:'}}'` up into playbook files, not just in .j2 files https://docs.ansible.com/ansible/11/collections/ansible/builtin/template_module.html#:~:text=you%20can%20override%20jinja2%20settings https://docs.ansible.com/ansible/11/collections/ansible/buil...
